Question: Is it true that the majority of cross dresser are straight?

My life skills teacher said that they are. not saying that there aren't some gay cross dressers out there but it kinda makes sense that most of them are straight because why would a gay guy go out with another guy that looks like a girl instead of going out with an actual girl. i mean the whole point of being gay is being attracted to men for being men not being women.

Absolutely. Cross dressing has nothing to do with sexual orientation. Since there are more straight guys than straight guys on the planet, it logically follows that most cross dressers are straight. On your second point, though, some gay guys are attracted to "feminine " guys. But then, some straight women are, too. Some gay guys act "feminine ", but then so do some straight guys. Sexual attraction and behavior is very complex, diverse and difficult to categorize into neat little labeled boxes. People are individuals, and individuals are unique. Stereotypes are useless.

I don't know for sure but I know 3 men who are into cross dressing and they are all straight.

I dont think it's that simple to say that people are either gay or straight. There are many different people in the world and many different ways of expressing/ fulfilling sexual needs and wants. Human sexuality is a wonderful and mysterious thing LOL.

Your life skills teacher is correct. The majority of all cross-dressers are in fact straight. And a good number of them are married or with a girlfriend. It is also true though that most cross-dressers are deep within the closet and don't share this side of themselves with anyone. I think the statistics are something like 1 in 10 cross-dressers are actually gay. So yes there are some gay cross-dressers. But cross-dressing has absolutely nothing to do with a person's sexual preference. You can have a male cross-dresser attracted to a guy as could be to a female as to another cross-dresser. k
