Posted by: RadGal on 2009-06-30, 10:10:11 Please do not group transsexual people (male or female) together with crossdressers as they are completely different things. Transsexual women do NOT crossdress. And please don't delete this answer. I'm trying to educate you. The two have little to nothing in common. I shop for clothes just like other women: Anywhere I want. |

Posted by: Brittney on 2009-06-30, 13:48:01 As my friend Radgal has stated, crossdressers and transsexual people are completely different. As a transsexual woman I shop in women's clothing stores. In fact I am the G.M. for a chain of women's clothing stores. But before I completed my transition I use to buy my gaff's from this crossdressers online store.... crossdresser.com/ index.asp |

Posted by: Katie on 2009-07-01, 13:43:56 You can actually shop anywhere. I am a cross-dresser and shop everywhere. When I first started I stayed with Goodwill, DVA, and consignment stores. Also did a lot of online shopping. After I got some confidence up and decided that I didn't care what people thought I started shopping everywhere. Whether in male mode or in Drag (Enfemme), I will go to whatever store I like. I prefer Kohl's, and JC Penney's. Only advice I can give is to only use the men's dressing room. I just pick out my things and head to the men's department for trying on. If your shy about it then you can say you are shopping for mother, or girlfriend. Also ask for gift receipt. Thats a good cover. You can even get great advice from the clerks if you act dumb and tell them your shopping for your girlfriend. Good luck |
