If no, then why? Same for feminine gay men, kinda like Chris Crocker I guess. It's not meant to be offensive at all I'm just wondering what your guys' view on this is.

Idk, butch aren't trying to be a man, but their not Feminine. If they are trying to be manly, then yes its the same as cross dressing.

Being a butch lesbian and wearing male clothing isn't considered cross dressing to most people. it's really a double standard, its OK for a woman to dress as a man but not for a man to dress as a woman and if he does then he is cross dressing. it's kind of silly really, but people in general don't think of cross dressers as being women. but technically yes they are cross dressing, it's just more socially acceptable.
