Question: Any cross-dressers have any fashion/make-up tips to share? (Posted by: Ricarrdo on 2009-12-10 17:07:45) I could be about anything! I'm all ears! Although, right now I'm really focusing on my eye liner, and I LOVE Abercrombie skirts and panties from Victoria's Secret! Whoopsies! I meant to put this in the Fashion section! |

Posted by: rachelle_inhighheels on 2009-12-10, 22:36:47 As a long time married cross dresser with a very accepting, understanding, supportive, knowledgeable, and helpful wife, who has taught me all the traits to emulate women from presentation, to walking, standing, sitting, mannerisms, make up, hair, nails etc, and from all of this I have amassed a very extensive wardrobe including 42 pair of HIGH HEELS (and I do mean HIGH), and this is a lifestyle for me, not a passing fancy, whim, or hobby... In reference to assistance is areas of cross dressing, words are only words, and one can't really be taught properly - make up, and related subject matter has to be of a "hands on " teaching, trying, correcting, viewing, and spending more than ample time in front of a mirror until one achieves the "product " they themselves like.. I myself wear a lot of makeup, especially eyeliner and shadows. As much as I'd love to council you on here or e-mail etc, it again, is a "in person " work in progress... Rachelle In High Heels |

If I knew your skin tone I could say a specific color but I don't so I can't. - Also make sure your hair doesn't look sloppy I know nothing about cross dressing but I hope I helped |

Posted by: StraightEdgedAlternativeGirl on 2009-12-10, 17:24:40 Not a cross-dresser myself. But please, please be tasteful with your fashion and makeup. I have seen far too many people (cross-dressers and non-cross-dressers) who cake on waaay to much makeup and dress like hookers. Don't be one of them. Be someone that people can walk down the street and go "oh wow. you look pretty today. " |

Posted by: Autumn Summers on 2009-12-10, 17:54:42 Learn the art of contour, you can find it on Youtube, Men are lucky in that even though our features are rather precise, we can accentuate them through contouring and pull off a glamorous look. Altenating light and dark foundation can dramatically allow your face to change shape. Cheekbones can be more defined, and jawlines can be shortened and braodened, or lengthened and defined as well. When it comes to clothesI tend to dress more conservative, such as LL Bean and J Crew and Express for professional look, and out with the girls, I prefer skirts of all lengths, and turtleneck sweaters, tunic style, and finally boots, 2-3 inch heels are my faves. These styles help to camouflague shape deficiencies, when I don't feel like wearing a corset. For eyes I prefer either a smokey look, or a very whimsical using pinks and pastels.I hope this helps. |
