Question: Do transsexuals hate cross dressers? (Posted by: on 2012-01-20 08:39:12) Do you think they are turning a medical condition (transsexualism) into a crossdressing sexual fetish? |

Posted by: Arch Angel Nikki on 2012-01-20, 08:49:53 I love crossdressers. And I'd love to rub my penis on your bum sometimes Zell. We all know you're famous for your desire for gay sex. |

Posted by: Michelle Nelson on 2012-01-20, 08:54:30 I dont see a reason ALL transsexuals would hate cross dressers, Im sure some do. Im sure some people of any sexuality or gender do. I dont think everyone who is transsexual has a thing against cross dressers though. = ) |

Posted by: Diane on 2012-01-20, 09:01:21 No. I have several good friends who are cross-dressers; it's not always a 'sexual fetish'. What does irritate me is people who don't know (and don't care to find out) the difference. |

Posted by: . on 2012-01-20, 09:15:29 No, transsexualism is totally separate from crossdressing. Crossdressing is a sexual fetish and transsexualism is a medical condition. I don't really care about crossdressers. Typically they are cisgendered heterosexual males with a fetish. I find crossdressers silly and mildly annoying, but i don't have anything against them. People are free to have ridiculous sexual fetishes if they want to. |

Posted by: Eyeliner and kittens on 2012-01-20, 09:31:05 Uh, no. Cross dressers just like wearing clothes from the other gender. Trans people were born into the wrong body. There's a huge difference. I've never met a trans person who thought cross dressing was bad/ weird in any way. Point is, both dress in the wrong biological clothing, but cross dressers are happy with being what gender they were born with, while trans people are not. I say biological, because it made it easier to explain. I'm not trying to say that a mtf wouldn't be female and vice versa. |

Posted by: Nickosaurus on 2012-01-20, 09:38:44 I can see where you're coming from, but no. I'm trans, and to me it's just another way of expressing oneself. It would seem very hypocritical to hate them. |

Posted by: Gwennie B on 2012-01-20, 11:21:35 Some may, but for the most part, the communities are friends- they have plenty of overlap, and yes, sometimes trans folks start out as cross-dressers before they realize they actually are, in fact, trans. And let's not forget that cross-dressing doesn't always have a sexual component; for many cross-dressers, it's not a fetish or sexual at all. Trans people aren't mad at cross-dressers for existing, although most are (quite rightly) pissed off as hell at transphobic so-called "experts " who conflate the two, like Ray Blanchard. |

Posted by: Clones Don't Have 100k Pts on 2012-01-20, 12:48:45 Some may, but I don't. Transsexualism and cross-dressing are separate things. If other people confuse them I simply do my best to educate them. Not because either is better than the other, but simply so people are aware and are better able to understand both. |
