Question: I have a question about cross-dressers? (Posted by: Mick on 2012-07-11 12:06:52) I am very aware that cross- dressers AREN'T usually gay people , but... I do not know where else to ask this. Anyway. I want to draw this picture that features a male cross- dresser, but I have a question. Do cross- dressing men ever shave their legs? I would think they would , but I just want to know . Sorry if this is a stupid question. |

Posted by: Rabbit on 2012-07-11, 12:31:04 I have seen a few and some do and others do not. Dreadfully funny sight to see a man with a beard wearing a dress and walking a sidewalk during the day. The image conjures up the conflict, maleness with a female flag. Obviously, his mission of the moment was not trying to "pass " as a woman, so shaving was irrelevant to the moment. If he were, then the beard would go, plus a lot of other exposed hair. The authenticity of the purpose would probably define that--'to shave or not to shave' how real do you want to be? As for 'artistic' (or even comical) representation, you would want the viewer to have enough clues to know what they are seeing and hair may be one. |

Some want to look completely female and will wear long hair, feminine makeup, jewelry, girly clothing, etc. and will shave/ pluck like a maniac to look even more female. As in, their goal is to be easily mistaken or confused for a biological female. They still have a masculine appearance but will wear female's clothing, makeup, and/ or jewelry. Generally, these cross-dressers don't shave, wear feminine hairstyles, pretend to be a girl, etc. |
