Hey everyone, I'm just wondering why people get teased and beat up for cross dressing, (specifically men wearing womens clothing in the teen age group) Is it because other people just don't understand? Thanks.

Basically. People are narrowminded jerks. So when they notice someone who's different from them they're automatically scared and disregard them as freaks. Lovely society we live in, hm?

No. It's because you don't understand. There is no such thing as the third sex. If you are one of them, learn how to control yourself and act appropriately in a decent manner.

Yes it's cliche... but people always fear whats different. As a society, we can't even been accept queer people as equals. Bigotry and unjustifiable hatred is very prevalent. But, a lot of people think it is fun! I guess it depends where you live. DC and Boston are my faves.

Gender roles have been established a long time ago in history, its slowly starting to change, and that makes alot of people unhappy, maybe they just don't like change or aren't willing to accept people for who they are... and only judge based on appearances. also many young teens are immature and don't quite understand the fact that theyre hurting someone else.
