A variety of crossdressing shopping questions...?

Question: A variety of crossdressing shopping questions...?

(Posted by: on 2006-08-26 20:30:58)

Asking in a different category. I'm looking for new cool things that a M2F crossdresser would have fun with. in particular, i'm looking for inexpensive items in the below categories that a college girl would wear/ use. sorry if some of the categories (or any of this) are stupid or trivial... i'm still kinda new to this! please give brand names :). if you're feeling generous, give an approximate price. if you're having a total good samaritan day and want to make me super- happy, give a link that i can use to buy the item online. - perfume, or other nice- smelling things a college girl would wear to class. i know zilch about this. i doubt i could name a single brand name of a perfume that girls currently wear. - jewelry. i don't have any. at all. certainly i can get a bunch of cheap jewelry (that actual college girls wear blah blah) somewhere. i know of Claire's, but that's all. those are the top two, but i'll add more... bras. this i know at least a little about, as most of my gfs have met me wearing unattractive bras and left me wearing at least one cute bra. i know of CK Choice and VS (particular Pink), but do any girls wear only those? i doubt it. - makeup. i know a fair amount about this category as well, but am particularly interested to know which / how much makeup is typical for college girls to wear to class right now. yes, i know many don't wear any makeup, and perhaps most wear no makeup other than lip gloss. i'm also interested in a good inexpensive liquid foundation. - purses. yeah, i know i'm in pretty deep if i want a purse, but i do; a cool girly purse. i know nothing about purses.

There are so many magazines published today and so many web sites available that advertise all you are asking about that you shouldn't have to depend on asking here. Besides, those places have pictures. The female students at our college wear a variety of all you are asking about. You need to decide what looks good on you. Do you like the "girl next door " look or are you going for something a little more sophisticated? Start Googling and good luck.

Jesus said, "I have come not to call the righteous, but the sinner to repentance ". Did you know... God loves us so much He sent His Son Jesus to this earth to pay for our sins so that whoever puts their trust in Him will not perish but have eternal life...?.. (Jn. 3:16) Did you know we can be clean & free from the burden of guilt & condemnation of sin? Christ has called us to Himself so we can repent of sin & be freely forgiven, and be cleansed of all unrighteousness . The Bible says, "If we confess our sins He is faithful and just to forgive our sins and to cleanse us from all unrighteousness ". Are you still living in sin? The Bible says: The Lord is compassionate toward us and very patient, not willing that any should perish, but that all should come to repentance. (2Peter 3:9) Did you once know Christ and turn away? The Bible says, the Son of God has come to seek and save that which is lost. (Lu.19:10) Jesus is the lover of your soul... Will you return to him now and receive his mercy and grace. He wants to set you free from guilt & sin and give you perfect peace . Pray this prayer: Heavenly Father; I admit I am a sinner; I have gone astray. I repent of sin now, and return to you. Please have mercy on me, forgive me my sins and wash me clean. I believe Jesus died for me, so I can be set free. Restore peace to me and give me the free gift eternal life; I ask in the name of Jesus Christ. Amen.

Ok. For perfume and cosmetics you can hit Sephora (sephora.com). Perfume is very much a subjective thing. It depends on what you like. I personally like Boudoir by Vivienne Westwood (very feminine, but maybe a bit too "old "). I also like Puma (very girlie and pink ! Oh So Cute) and ... I say this with great pain 'cause I hate Britney Spears but Curious is not bad at all. Jewellery...try Marshalls or TJ Max They have cute jewellery. For something more glamorous try Loehmann's (great for purse too! I got the BEST Lulu Guiness purse there for dirt cheap! They also have Juicy Couture discounted) Bras and panties. Well I really like Victoria's secret or Frederick of Hollywood but Target is not bad either (cute and cheap). Hit the stores, have fun. I understand that you may prefer to shop on line, but if you are just getting started you will have to try things on to see what looks best on you. If you live in a small town and that's a problem. take a day trip to the nearest city and enjoy. Nobody will know who you are! Best of luck, sweetums.

Well, college and I are almost twenty years apart, but let's see.... Perfume - your best bet here is to keep your nose in the air and on the lookout for a scent that you like. When you find one, ask her what she is wearing. Worse case scenario, she'll think your trying to pick her up. (And that's no so bad, is it?) Jewelry - Claires is good. So is Afterthoughts. Also try checking out the local flea markets in your area. Finally, you can pick up some nice pieces at Wal-Mart, believe it or not. I got a pair of diamond studs there at a very reasonable price. Makeup - Ah, the advantages of a youthful complexion! You're right in that many young ladies can get by with a little lip gloss and maybe a couple of swipes of mascara. The best way to try to mimic this look is with a very light foundation, so I wouldn't reccomend anything liquid. Instead, try either Bare Minerals by Escentuals ot Mineral Sheers from Nuetregena. Both are powder foundations that cover well, but look almost invisible. Bras - This is going to be dictated more by your size than anything else. If you have a slight build, you can probably find something pretty at Victorias Secret. If you are a full figured gal, however, you're probably going to want to look at either Lane Bryant or Avenue. Now, I know Lane Bryant gets a bad rap as being the "fat girl " store, but give them a chance. They had some cute bras the last time I was in there. Any woman can confrim this: Do not sacrifice comfort for style. There is nothing more uncomfortable than a bra that is the wrong size. (If you are feeling brave, ask to be measured.) Purses - Ah, my weak spot. Sometimes it seems like I have a purse for every outfit I own. College girls, however, probably have not attained that level of purse fanaticism yet, so you can probably get by with a nuetral soft hobo type bag. You can find these everywhere. Literally. I hope this helps. Good luck and remember, the actual shopping can be almost as much fun as getting dressed up. Have fun!

There are many places where one could find garments to fit the trans m-f type. i started at a holloween costume place and the next thing ya know I'm playing the "piss-boy " from the classic Mel Brooks movie, history of the world!! only I'm dressed as a girl - full make-up, mini, stockings, heels, etc - and it's no movie!! i haven't held a real job in over 14 years!! LMFAO!!! good luck.
