Is this considered crossdressing?

Question: Is this considered crossdressing?

(Posted by: Magic Dance on 2010-01-27 07:21:13)

Okay I am a boy and normally to school I will wear a pair of tight jeans, sneakers, a t- shirt with possibly a shirt underneath or a dress shirt over ti, a tie and a vest of some sort. When I feel like making more of an effort I might wear a romantic goth style shirt, some eyeliner, a few belts, sneakers, fingerless gloves and some hair extensions. When I'm going to a gay place or on a date I wear colorful hair extensions, a vintage hat, very tight jeans and a few belts. For a top I might wear either a t- shirt with a vest and tie or a romantic goth style shirt. If it's really warm I might wear a muscle shirt. I'm considering trying to get even more flamboyant with my plan to try out visual kei style pants with fishnets or stocking underneath or possibly even one of those visual kei pant/ skirts. At which of these styles does the line between dressing very gay and being a crossdresser come? (Yes, I am gay and I really don't care if people notice that. I live in a very liberal area) In Boston.

I don't think this sounds like crossdressing. Sounds to me more of a goth type look but not crossdressing. Its not like you are wearing any dresses, skirts, or heels.

Your curent manner of dress wouldn't be considered crossdressing and would only be considered as such if you started wearing items that are namely identified with what women wear. In either case, you should be aware of the fact that the way someone wishes to express themselves in terms of gender is not indicative of sexual orientation. There are straight men who wouldn't think of dressing more flamboyant than you or even crossdressing, and there are gay men who look downright menacing in their overall appearance and nobody who didn't already know would suspect they're gay. Ultimately, dress however you feel comfortable with.
