Looking for transgender transition literature or studies material. Scholarly too.?
I'm going to be doing an ethnography on the liminal inbetween stages of being transgender or becoming transgender. If you have any personal stories, scholarly texts, or any other possible texts you have. If you know of a community blog or something that could possibly help, can you link it up here too? Thanks.
MtF transgender transition question?
I am MtF and started transitioning about 2 and 1 2 months ago. My question is, I feel like a woman about 90% of the time except when I get like really horny. Why is this? I have no desire to use my genitalia even when like super horny. Is this because I still have testosterone in my system? When I get super horny I have to masturbate, even though I do not want to, then afterwords I go back to feeling like a woman. When I do masturbate I always hate it and think of myself as a woman doing it with men because that's who I'll be when everything is said and done.I hate this and want to have no more testosterone. I feel like I am trapped because of my male hormones.I know the urges are from the testosterone, but why would I feel like a man, and notice my male features more when I am horny enough that I am forced to masturbate? Is this the testosterone as well? The shortest amount of time I heard that spiro takes to start doing its thing is 4 months.
