No one around offers hormone therapy for transgender people?
I've been searching with my therapist for about 7 months now to find a doctor person to prescribe hormones for me, but all of the people I've called have said, " No we don't take that insurance" , and the doctors I've gone to see say they don't offer stuff like that. One crazy physician tried to tell me I wasn't transgender at all, but she honestly came off as uneducated. My last option was the U of M gender clinic, but I can't get in contact with them at all. I've tried calling, leaving messages, and emailing, but I haven't gotten any response whatsoever for several weeks. Worst service ever.So I ran out of places to go. Now what? Self medicate? It would seem kind of silly to self medicate when I've got my therapist's approval, but darn, I can't find any freaking doctors I'm in the southwestern part of Michigan.Going to U of M in person seems like a gamble, since it's about 100 miles away, and transportation is a bit of an issue, so I'd like to minimize the number of trips over there.

I am female but I am not sexually submissive. Or submissive in a relationship at all. I don't like being whipped, pushed, bitten, etc. I can't stand it I can't stand being controlled. Or having my man pay for everything. I like to dominate. Having my man be the provider lowers my self esteem and makes me guilty. Does not being submissive and make me want to dominate make me transgender?
